Chatpata Chicken Fry | Simple and Tasty Chicken Fry | Chicken Fry Recipe | Masala Chicken Fry | Spicy Chicken Fry | Quick Chicken Masala Fry | Simple and Easy Chicken Fry | Spice Eats Chicken Fry
Ingredients for Chicken Fry:
- Chicken, small curry cut pieces with bones- 500 gms
For Marination:
- Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder- 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder- 1.5 tsp
- Cumin Powder- 1/2 tsp
- Crushed Pepper- 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt-1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
- Whisked Curd/ plain yogurt- 1 tbsp
- Lemon Juice- 2 tsp
- Tomato Ketchup- 2 tbsp
Other Ingredients:
- Coriander leaves, fine chopped- 3 tbsp
- Curry leaves, fine chopped- 1 tbsp
- Oil- 3 tbsp
Preparation:
- Marinate the chicken with items indicated. Set aside for 1 hr.
- Fine chop the coriander and curry leaves and keep it for use later.
Process:
- Heat oil and spread the marinated chicken uniformly on the pan.
- Sear on high to medium heat for 5 mins till uniformly browned.
- Now reduce the heat to low and cover & cook for around 15 mins till chicken is tender. Remove the lid once halfway & give a stir.
- Once the chicken is tender, remove the lid and add the finely chopped coriander and curry leaves.
- Give a mix and fry on medium heat for 3-4 mins.
