I give it up to these kids for having an interest in politics at such a young age.

This country is already run by kids, this won’t hurt

Back in my home country Chile, in 2006 we had the Students movement also called the ‘penguins revolution’ (because of traditional school uniforms). The leaders of that movement, at the time students...nowadays are in office as congressman, etc. Making changes. Millennial with control is what we need in the world.

I find this generation fascinating...with all the technology we have now and access to information. So many seem to try to be utilizing it for some honest change. Hats off to you and I look forward to watching what you do!

If Trump can be president, & the North Korean leader shaking hands with the South Korean leader, then why not?

Whenever I watch her skits their Christmas songs: '5 inside jobs' starts playing in my head. Nice show. I'm glad kids are getting involved in politics now. It's better than getting wasted

I have to keep reminding myself that they’re sarcastic.

In all seriousness, I nearly ran for the Kansas house straight out of high school, but decided against it in the end. These kids should have run for the state House, not the governorship.

I can’t believe you used Shawnee Mission North as a backdrop when Shawnee Mission Northwest is a better backdrop! Go Cougars

One of the only times I can actually say that I'm proud to be from Kansas. It's just too bad that none of those kids actually did anything. We all think we can change the world when we're 18, then we meet the Koch brothers.

Everyone who's opposed to paying taxes needs to read up on the paradox of thrift.

I lived in Kansas during his great experiment, and I got to see first hand my middle school losing thousands in funding. And my school district was one of the best funded, so imagine the funding losses that poorer and rural schools and school districts experienced. In college, my university had to furlough its non-instruction and non-administrative workers for weeks on end as the government scrambled to fund anything. Literally, the workers that upkeep the university, the ones with the lowest pay already and probably live paycheck to paycheck, didn't get paid for upwards of a month. The experiment failed, and a bipartisan group that included almost all of the state senate actually worked together to remove the tax cuts with a bill, but Brownback vetoed it. Worst is that Brownback doesn't even live in Kansas! He lives in Missouri and just put his friends' Kansas home as his residence so he could run. He is complete scum and knows that he failed with these bs tax cuts, but can't admit it.
