My sister passed from glioblastoma and had four crannies to prolong her life and three she had to be awake for. She became too, agitated during one so they had to put her totally out. She doesn't remember much and claims she felt no pain. Still and all after I myself went through a pterional craniotomy to treat two large aneurysm's by clipping. Not an easy surgery to go through being asleep, I couldn't imagine going through it awake. Omg no way. I still have two more small one's on the other side of my brain. They are small right now so, my neurosurgeon is monitoring them.

I was only given Versed and a spinal block for my emergency c-section. I wish they would’ve given me something stronger, that was a very traumatic experience.

I was awake during my c-section. It was an emergency and we both nearly died. She came out totally silent.

Okay, so I may be totally wrong; however, a couple of months ago, I had an emergency surgery to remove some of my organs because I have stage 4 endometriosis. The doctor who was on call that had performed the surgery gave me a cesarean cut. I have a blurry memory of walking up and not being able to speak, and the guy (anesthesiologist) who was in there ran up to me yelling that I shouldn't be lifting up my head and he held my head down. I passed out right after that. Was this scenario the same thing you are talking about or something completely different?
