Fantastic playing as usual, Shawn. Would there be a noticeable tonal difference if you put the SYN 1 into a (good quality) fx loop of an EL84 amp like a Suhr Badger? Overall, I’m curious how much of an impact there’d be if one used the original type of power section/tubes with the various Synergy modules (when compared to the original amps that they’re based on). Vox style thru EL84, Plexi thru EL34, Fender thru 6L6 etc.

If you didn’t currently have an amp but had several cabs, is there a particular power amp setup you’d recommend to pair with the SYN1 for the best tone and versatility? Thinking I may need to dive in on synergy with this new module…

If you've not heard the Russian 6n14n (no suffix) military grade EL-84's shipped stock in the Z Wreck (and used by Ken Fisher), they are super rad. Love your content, Memphis guitarist here. Thanks for what you do with Revv's, they've been a revelation (hehe) in direct tone. Cheers Shawn!
