Resources 101 - Introduction

'Introduction to Mineral and Energy Resources' is the second in the Science 101 Seminar Series, which provides an introduction to a range of scientific topics related to Geoscience Australia's strategic work priorities. The seminar will include an introductory overview by Dr Andrew Heap, Chief of Geoscience Australia's Resources Division, followed by two short presentations on resource systems, and resource exploration tools.

No prior technical knowledge is required. It will also be suitable for anyone wanting to brush up on their basic geoscience knowledge.

The GA Pathways Network is a group of passionate early and mid-career professionals at Geoscience Australia. We come from many backgrounds and represent a range of experiences. We aim to provide resources, opportunities and events that can assist all staff with their personal and career development goals at Geoscience Australia and beyond. This seminar will be presented by Dr James Johnson, Aki Nakamura and Megan Lech.
