Arizona, 1975. Travis Walton and six coworkers witness a large disc shaped craft hovering near the road they’re driving on.Travis gets out of his truck and a blinding blue light strikes him. His crewmates drive away in panic as he loses consciousness inside the beam. When they return with the Sherriff, both the craft and Travis are gone. Despite skepticism from police, polygraph tests support their story.
Five nights later, Travis calls his sister from a gas station. He is disoriented, bruised, and severely dehydrated. He claims he encountered short beings with large heads on the hovering craft. They forced him to endure strange experiments on his body and mind. He claims he tried wielding one of their own tools against them without success. Skeptics insist that his story is a hoax but, to this day, Travis and his crewmates maintain they are telling the truth.
