Finished a couple of AAA games on Switch this year but I found myself enjoying some indie titles much more.

As I have gotten older, I’ve started to find myself gravitating towards indie games. And it’s a simple reason why, they’re never the same game, or so it would seem. Call of Duty has not changed very much since MW2 in my opinion. It’s basically the same game, just with new weapons and kill streaks. Yes, call of duty is still fun, but I find myself getting bored of it after about 2 months or 6 months. Then I don’t pick up the game ever again. With a game like cod or assassins creed, I feel like that’s the goal of the company. Make the game decent enough to last the play 6 months to a year, then give them a new one. Where as indie games just are more enjoyable. Take STALKER, for example. STALKER is based in Chernobyl and is basically an apocalyptic horror/RPG game. It’s also not a very well polished game, but that game was definitely made with love. You can tell the devs really care about STALKER and want you to become engrossed in it. Red Orchestra 2 is the same way. Not the greatest game developmentally, but great nonetheless

For me, Triple A games mean Astronomically Aimless Annoyances. It is the best tower in JToH.

that is what they are ranked by and there are 30 other cats to grade a game by, but these three are the top three graded cats when making a AAA title, if you dont score in these you can in fact be a AAB or AAC title, the devs have gone to great lengths and expense to change this term to their fav without having to put the work intot he games like they should they spent time changing the term to make themselves look better then theyactually are

It would be worth pointing out that triple a didn't really start until around the aughts. from '95 and earlier almost all dev teams were underfunded and at most 30 people.

AAA games = 60$ game only, 4 DLC 15$ each
120$ total.
We all know
If (game cost>60$) = 80% of the time is 💩
20% of AAA game are bs btw

Who would win:
A 200$ deluxe edition AAA games with pass, shop and skin

Or a casual 10$ multiplayer indie game
