I'm honestly fine with D rank being canon. That's still a pretty good house all things considered, and Luigi doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would want a grandiose house anways.

Rank A: The A-Rank Mansion appears tall and almost hotel-like in nature, with four stories.
Rank B: The Mansion appears as a rather standard-looking three-story mansion.
Rank C: The mansion resembles a luxury home fit for a medium-sized family.
Rank D: The Rank D house is a small house with a bigger, 2-story middle and two sides.
Rank E: The house resembles a small family house.
Rank F: The house resembles a proper house, being a small, symmetrical home.

The ending piano at the last part of the H rank jingle CREEPED me out when I first heard it. I guess I wasn’t really expecting it, even though I was expecting the sad version of the normal jingle. It creeped me out so much that it made me start to think about it, and the fact that Luigi is technically homeless now because he didn’t give into greed even a little bit. He didn’t go out of his way to collect money or anything and the game bit him in the butt for it. Just another L for the poor little Mario bro to take. I know he likely wouldn’t mind it because his big brother is the world to him, but it’s sad that this would be his fate if he didn’t collect anything.
