And that was the reason i have not got audi a5 yesterday but going back to pick it up in the morning inwas thinking is the gearbox as the audi is automatic. Thank you mate 👍👍

exactly the noise my Audi A4 is making right now. Took it to a few shops and all the mechanics told me all 4 tires are bad. Replaced 4 tires and the noise is still there...Also, you can't identify a bad wheel bearing just by a shakedown of left to right up and down of the wheel off the ground or just simply rotating the tires by hand and listening to it. (At least not on this car.) Time for a new wheel bearing!

I’m hearing same or similar sound at around 30-45mph. Sounds like Cessna prop plane taking off. I thought maybe tires with cupped tread, I rotated but noise is still there. I have B8 2013 a4 with 73k mi on it and safety inspection said it’s RR bearing but it feels good and there’s no play in the bearing. But I’ll replace based on this confirmation video.. probably do both rears this weekend and then listen maybe do fronts this fall. Thanks for sharing

Been driving myself nuts over this . Did you have play in the wheel at all? Like normal when wheel bearing usually fail. Have this same song on the passenger front of my a5

I think my bearings are shot also on my 2009 Audi A6 quattro but sounds different from your Car. Mine is more of low pitch Rumble/ droning sound.
