SpaceX Falcon Heavy Launch Shocked NASA ASTRONAUTS and Scientists! Elon Reacts

At the right time in the right place, January 15th Falcon Heavy launch was already one of SpaceX’s most spectacular yet, shocked NASA astronauts and Scientists.
Why it can make this?
How did Elon Musk react to this launch?
Find out everything about this in today's episode of Alpha Tech:

Photographers on the ground captured great shots of the latest launch of SpaceX's most powerful rocket. One off-Earth observer did as well — the International Space Station (ISS), which happened to be in the right place at the right time on that day.

"An external high-definition camera on the International Space Station captured the launch plume of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket after it had ascended to Earth orbit following its liftoff on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida," NASA officials wrote in a description of the photo.

"The space station was flying 262 miles [422 kilometers] above the Atlantic Ocean just after an orbital sunset at the time of this photograph," they added.

It’s not the first time a rocket launch has produced a show for the astronauts (or, at least, cameras) who live aboard the ISS. But it is the first time the rare launch of a Falcon Heavy rocket was spotted from orbit. Similar in concept to the contrails produced by aircraft at high altitudes, Falcon Heavy produced a giant exhaust plume as it climbed out of Earth’s atmosphere, and that exhaust – containing a small amount of water vapor – created artificial clouds.

No where in this video was there a discussion about "Shocked NASA Scientists & Astronauts!".

Wish this channel would stop with the clickbait titles! It never used to be like that

1:15 *OMG!* The exhaust *DOES NOT* "contain a small amount of water vapor." Burning kerosene (in either a jet or a rocket) *CREATES* a *HUGE* amount of water vapor. Nearly HALF of the mass of the *kerosene* gets converted into *WATER* when it burns (The other half becomes carbon dioxide.). If you're gonna talk about science & engineering -- then learn actual science and engineering.

Love Falcon heavy it’s just such a beautiful rocket to see going up, I hope that starship is going to be as awesome

The spiral over Hawaii is due to the intentional tumble of the Falcon 2nd stage.
This is done to hasten re-entry of the expendable stage over the Pacific.
Thanks for the update, Alpha Tech.

Yet the FAA acts as if SpaceX can't be trusted to launch starship. Seems they know what they're doing, and the FAA just want to throw up roadblocks.

Stop complaining about the video titles. That's just pressure from YT for clicks. These are the best updates on the Web. Sit back and enjoy the ride, we're going to Mars.

Watching these SpaceX launches never gets old, same for landings! But we ain't seen nothing yet I hope. I hope when they do launch Starship it will be in the same time frame as this was. Photo Ops like that are rare and can you imagine the view from ISS seeing that monster either roar past them or Fireworks we've never seen before. Bless SpaceX n good luck

As if launching your own car into an orbit around Mars wasn't OP enough, his rockets create a f**kn Nebula!

So...where's the part where this launch "Shocked NASA Scientists & Astronauts"? You didn't mention anything like that anywhere in this vid. Are you resorting to clickbait now?

And... Again... Another video with 0% new information. Just phrased differently. Nothing about "Scientists & Astronauts", This is QUICKLY becoming almost like a Bot ran youtube channel. You run like 3 other Channels on Youtube with IDENTICAL videos and titles... Getting old fast.

Click bait Also, “a very small amount of water in the exhaust plume”?? Do the chemical equation and stop saying stupid things.

Why would astronauts be shocked, as Falcon Heavy isn't human-rated nor are there any plans to make it so? Who cares about watching the 2nd most powerful operational rocket? SLS was much more impressive, it can hurl space craft out of earth's orbit.

I wish these people would teach their voicebot proper pronunciation.
