Punch Out Wii was pretty good. The work they put in animations is great. Landing star punches is a joy and each match is fun to learn.
I especially like the special TKO animations.

Epic Mickey is incredibly nostalgic for me. It’s not exactly the best game out there, but the story and word building make for an experience like no other.

Twilight Princess on the GameCube, which was compatible with the Wii, was my favorite game. I played it so much the disc wore out.

i wasnt fortunate enough to have bought mario kart wii as a kid, but recently, its become my favorite wii game because my friend would always brag how she was better than me at coconut mall, so that really rekindled the fire to play the game

Super mario galaxy is my die hard favorite of any nintendo game. It also doesn't help that me and my brother didn't have a lot of wii games growing up but I always cry every time I hear a SMG song play, nothing screams nostalgia more.

5) Ghost Squad: when I saw my favorite arcade game that was no longer at the arcade I went to at Gamestop being sold used for around $10, I flipped out and had to get it. No regrets at all!

4) New Super Mario Bros Wii: friend of mine used to come over and play some levels with me. Having a friend to exploit bubbling made the game much more relaxing.

3) Kirby's Epic Yarn: the aesthetic is absolutely wonderful! Such a comfortable, beautiful game to play.

2) Super Smash Bros Brawl: it took Melee to a whole-nother-level! When I was hanging out with friends at a friend's house and we'd opt to play Brawl I was all for it. I eventually got my own Wii and my own copy and absolutely LOVED the story mode and all the other modes and extras that continued and expanded from Melee.

1) Super Mario Galaxy: this game was the first 3d platformer Mario game I couldn't hate if I tried. No bs levels the way Sunshine and 64 had, it was much more relaxing and enjoyable to play overall. The music was absolutely gorgeous. This game defined my experience with the Wii (just over Brawl) and really came in around Christmas time at a difficult time of loss and financial struggle in our home and I think ultimately helped me to move on through it mentally.

Honorable mentions:
Animal Crossing City Folk: I intended to play the game much more than I did, but never brought myself to. I never had an issue with the game and listening to its soundtrack on YouTube really brings back nostalgia from the hours I've spent on Wild World that I never shared with City Folk. Still a game I want to get myself addicted to because I know I very well can.

Mario Kart Wii: My Wii came in late and I finally got one at a time when Xbox 360 was losing me. I never got myself to get MKW then and until 2016 to add to my massive backlog of many different games across many different platforms. I do really intend on playing it.

I'm glad you consider SMG1 and SMG2 as one game, since SMG2 is essentially a "lost levels"

Mario Strikers Charged will always be cherished by my child self. So much personality on the characters in a more gritty setting.
