Objectives - Understand how to:
- Assess mild cognitive impairment;
- Describe different types of dementia;
- Distinguish Alzheimer's disease from other forms of dementia (e.g., vascular, mixed, fronto-temporal, Lewy body, Parkinson's disease);
- Identify appropriate therapeutic options for individual patients with dementia;
- Use available data on dementia diagnosis and care to guide my own decisions in working with patients;
- Find new and emerging research on dementia that can inform my clinical practice.
