I'm doing an undergraduate at UTSA for mechanical engineering. I'm an older non traditional student been going part time and working full time for 4 years.. finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel hopefully I'm done by next summer. Thanks for putting up these informative videos because it's really nice to see someone else's perspective on the typical day to day life... and congrats and on getting married.

Hi Golda! I also live in California I’m halfway through my BS program in Electronic Systems with a concentration in Mechatronics. It’s fully online and we also have 2 classes per semester. Being organized is definitely key especially when working full time I’m working as an electrical drafter from home. I love it because I can stay home with my 2 kids :) I’m also planning on getting my masters right after I finish. Anyways I love all of your content!

Hey! Can I ask how old you are? You look young but at the same time really mature... I'm about to finish my 4 year bachelors in Mech Eng and I just feel we're all so immature at 21/22 and not ready to start Masters, I can specially see that in group projects with some students being really disorganised and unprofessional.

Hi Golda, what is your take on students taking Bachelors in Engineering Technology? I'm a junior student & majoring in B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Do you think I'll be able to get an engineering job? Esp that some of the classes that y'all take in engineering school, we don't take. And the math stuff that y'all do that is calculus base, ours is algebra base. Y'all take Cal 1-3 & other math subjects, ours we only do Cal 1-2 & that's it. So what is your take on that? I'm just starting to feel so disappointed right now thinking about my future if I'll be able to work as an engineer & idk if I'm even qualified now. I found out from my professor today that he said if I want to work in an office job I have to be good at calculations. Is that something you always do in your position? I hope you can help & give me advice.
