My understanding of a bisexual was always that bisexuals are attracted to biological males or females. Hence bisexuality. Years ago, it was explained to me that people who were pansexual would be attracted to someone who was male, female, non-binary, or even trans. I was told that pansexuals were more open to falling in love with anyone based on who they were, but not based off of their sex or gender. This was the definition by someone who identified as pansexual and that was her definition of the difference. I'm not sure when the definitions changed to be the exact same thing. Her definition always made sense to me. However, after hearing all of these other explanations, I have a literal loss of words and a migraine.
