Shadows and lighting seem to be the only differences on the character models between PC and PS5. The model meshers and texturing appear to be the same otherwise. Sometimes the PC faces look better, sometimes the PS5. The fact is though that the PS5 has massively superior self-shadowing that looks natural whereas on PC it looks blockly/low-res and is prone to flickering. Not seeing much in the way of that next-gen hair tech that was showcased in FIFA 21 in either version...

Not buying FIFA 22 though for either format as I only picked up FIFA 21 on PS5 a few months back cheap in a PS Store sale. Will never ever support EA's microtransactions though as I only buy FIFA for the single player campaign (thankfully).

so EA have put the ps4 version onto pc and also denuvoed it. So even if we pay £50 for it we're not even getting actual fifa 22, despite it being made on pcs in the first place. Funny.
