Tbh I think the PS4 is capable of having the ps5 graffics they jus downgraded the PS4 to make ps5 look better

i don't understand why a sport game like FIFA needs the "next gen" to provide this kind of graphics (lighting, etc.) while open world game like RDR2 appears to be more beautiful even without the "next gen" label..

They honestly didn’t really need to make a next gen edition yet. The gap between current and next gen is very small. It’s not as big as PS3 to PS4 was.

The main difference is lighting. The PS4 might be able to handle same graphic level as PS5, but they prolly downgrade the PS4 to make the PS5 version look better

Absolute joke, they can definitely make the ps4 version look like the ps5 if they wanted to, especially adding in those cut scenes and kids walking out etc, just scummy from EA.

No one doubts that FIFA 22 has better graphics, but they have done a "downgrade" on PS4 to make the "difference" more noticeable, for example in the sweat of the players, in previous FIFA games for PS4 players if they had sweat when playing, and now they have already removed that animation on PS4, it is obviously downgrade

Remember that lighting is everything in terms of how much strain it will do on the graphics card. Use Cyberpunk as a reference for what happens with rendering proper lighting.

This video alone encapsulates how LAZY and MANIPULATIVE EA is. It is LITERALLY THE SAME GAME on both PS4 and PS5. Same animations, same celebrations, same lifeless facial expressions, same entrance angles and even same commentary (with not a single extra commentary sentence for next gen consoles). Hell, the only slightest difference (negligible even) that PS5 have over PS4 is that it has more detailed hair, facial hair (detailed hair strands), the stadium lights reflect off the players' faces (which is really weird how unrealisticly wet and reflective these faces are on PS5 when playing in rain conditions), the clothes are more detailed (even though they look fine on PS4 and my guess is they downgraded them on PS4 to make PS5 stand out) and bounce up and down (which is also exaggerated) and the game is brighter on PS4 when it is darker and slightly more contrasted on PS5 (like those picture options you adjust on your tv). Absolutely PATHETIC and LAZY!!!
