Let’s set the stage:
You’re at a sporting event and you’re feeling hungry and go to the concession stand for some food.
Instead of simply ordering you need to:💀Figure out how many carbs are in the food you are getting. This can be a challenge since there’s no label or nutritional information.
💀Consider the fat and protein that may hit you hours later. This can impact your choice of food that you want to eat.
💀You get ready to dose, but realize you’re a little over halfway through the game and your insulin will still be active when the game is over.
💀After the game you’re about to walk a little over a mile to get back to where you’re staying, so you can’t take too much now, or you’ll go low, but you can’t take too little or you’ll sit through the rest of the game with a high blood sugar.
💀Once you get there, you have to consider that you may change and go get a legit meal in about an hour or two, when the fat may hit, so you have to factor that in.
💀It’s also hot outside, so the temperature may make you more insulin sensitive.
