First reported and confirmed case was actually December 1, 2019. Current speculation is that it has been spreading since at least November

My question is, what makes our food source (beef, chicken, pork, etc) safer than game meat (civet, camel, etc)? Is it because of better disease control in the raising of these farm animals? Or something else?
