There are places in the Grand Canyon that the federal government doesn't want people to explore. The Smithsonian Institution has areas that are off limits.

My Dad worked for the Great Smoky Mountain NP. I grew up living in the park. It's possible to hike nine miles in a day. But the disappearances of people cannot be explained. I was eleven when Dennis Martin disappeared. I remember my Dad being in the search party with one of his best friends McCarter who was a Park Ranger. Dennis was with his family and disappeared in minutes. It upset everyone when he was not found. My Dad talked about Dennis until the day he died. I pray for the family till this day. It's heartbreaking.

When you said if someone is adamant about you going to the Grand Canyon with them, just say no is so true. I am 67 yrs old, I had befriended a 72 yr old female neighbor. She was always trying to insert herself into my life and family. At first, I thought she was just lonely, but as the friendship went on, she became more possessive and controlling. I thought maybe she misread my friendship and explained I was straight. She said she was also. Long story short, I started slowly ending the friendship cause truthfully, I became scared of her. She had back issues and couldn't walk more than a few feet without having to stop. What made me make the clean break was she kept insisting I go to the Grand Canyon with her. She offered to fully pay my way. Tried an emotional appeal how she wanted to see it before she died. The whole nine yards. I'm not stupid. If you can't walk 2 feet without pain and stopping, what are you going there for? Just the two of us. Nope. Not today Satan. Don't care how much money you have. If you want me, you gonna have to come in my heavily camera'd home and everybody get your popcorn cause it'll be a fight to remember. 😂

Born and raised in AZ - years ago my dad, his friend and I did a 6 day treck through the Grand Canyon on trails that aren’t routinely maintained. It was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done. Training for it was difficult but worth it. It’s incredibly beautiful and you realize how small we are on this planet and that’s a beautiful thing to be humbled by nature in that way. If you’re well prepared and knowledgeable about what you’re going into it can be very safe. Obviously there’s inherent risk in hiking through something like the Grand Canyon but that’s why you educate yourself and train.

David Paulides investigated many disappearances in the national parks….one thing that came up in his investigations is that the search dogs would lose the trail abruptly and that bad weather would happen during the search…

You should look into a man named David Paulides. He’s all about the many people that have disappeared in all of our national parks

My sister worked at the Canyon for years and she worked around radios. You wouldn’t believe how many people died everyday. Not just from accidents but on purpose.

It's really weird man lot of these people that go missing never seem to have their boots or shoes on they found one guy who was lost supposedly his feet were worn down right to the bones literally. When they do find these people they have no shoes or clothes on in a lot of instances, and also miles and miles from where they were last seen. How does that happen? Or they'll search an area 10 15 20 times and then six months or 2 weeks whenever it is later they go back and somebody finds that person where they've looked dozens of times. Something weird is going on and I guarantee you the government knows what it is and they ain't saying

In all these places of disappearing people, I believe they encounter something they weren’t meant to see.

Alaska's missing persons number is 2 to 3 times higher than the national average. Alaska also has many unexplained occurrences, like tons of Bigfoot/ cryptid sightings, UFO, and paranormal activity.

My mom and I went to the G.C in 1978. We just looked out at it from a scenic point. I told her I would never want to go down into it. I remember thinking that it was a little unsettling yet beautiful at the same time. I was 15 back then.

You are spot on. No matter how experienced you are you still need to expect the unexpected. Be prepared. No matter if you have hiked a certain trail a billion times or whatever and feel confident you know what to expect still be prepared as if you are inexperienced and are hiking a trail for the first time. No shame in admitting you need a certain amount of items for survival and unexpected events. Have them on you no matter what. Experienced or inexperienced you need to be fully prepared for anything. Don’t lose your life because you think you are prepared for anything and everything because you have experience and have been on a certain trail numerous times before. Be prepared. It’s like Aslan said in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, “Nothing happens the same way twice” or so on and so forth.

Sudden and unexpected weather events that hamper search and rescue efforts are a common element in the Missing 411 phenomenon.

So this will sound really crazy if you haven’t heard it before, but I just
found a lot of information on the Grand Canyon. I’m sure you’ve prob
heard things before about how there are places in the United States
that actually look like Egypt, Israel, and those areas. There is a picture
of the US map showing California, Arizona, and surrounding states.
They put a map of Egypt on top of the US west coast and it matched
up perfectly! You should look it up so you see what I’m trying to say.
And with Arizona, they have found tons of artifacts, and gold and other
items that should belong in Egypt. And they said there are many more
Pyramid’s in Arizona and other states in the US then there are in Egypt
alone. My thoughts went right to the “Flat earth versus the Globe.”
I always associate the “Globe” with the “Globalist, ” Cabal and maybe
my imagination is too active sometimes, but as far as the maps of
Egypt and West Coast US matching up...just both have diff states and
or Countries (names). But if the map of the earth were laying flat and
It was pulled up to look round the locations come together one on top
the other under it. So I’m not saying one way or the other, but a plane(t)
is prob a “plane.” NASA states in their documents that aircraft fly over
“flat non-rotating earth. And the not curved!
NASA lies about everything anyway so who knows. Won’t it be nice to
hear the truth some day?! Ok, almost forgot, they also found Sphinx’s
in Arizona! Sorry this was so long. I have the maps photos if you would
like to see them. It’s pretty interesting!

You should look up the "Missing 411" with David Paulides. He's been researching missing people in all the state parks for years. Most of them are very strange stories but true.

New sub here. I live in Colorado. And I agree with you, it's best not to hike alone, anything can go wrong. Really enjoying your channel!

"They identified him by his day pack which also had some prescription medicine with his name inside of it which confirmed their suspicions. Oh, and they found his ID in his jacket too. But anyway..."
Wow, those guys were some top notch investigators. Real A+ work right there.
