Gears is the type of game to bring tears to a full grown man

That look Dom has when the gun is trained on him speaks volumes.

He's tired of strife and pain. He's seen many people die and probably thinks it's his turn, he has nothing left to live for.

Heavy stuff.

Then they save him and you can see he's steeling himself to keep fighting while at the same time he seems almost disappointed to still be alive.

Gears of War was such a great series of games.

The way Marcus looks at Dom after he saves his life is so touching. He saw that Dom was embracing death and he looked at him like "what are you doing."

I remember the times when me and my dad would play through every gears of war campaign together i was always marcus and dad was always dom when we saw him die it bought tears to my eyes we both left gears three alone for a while but sadly my dad died in a car crash before we could ever finish our journey together I haven't ever touched a gears game since and never plan to without him because as far as I'm concerned the gears story ends right there. at his funeral i played this song and it bought tears to my eyes again for the exact same reason as it did when gears ended I was 12 when when gears one came out I'm 26 now and haven't play gears since I was 17 its quite fitting though because just like marcus I've grown older and had children I've now started gears 4 with my son it's a new beginning a new story for us both but gears three is still a game I'm not playing ever

I think what makes it so sad is that when Marcus saved DOM you could tell DOM didn't want it
