I love teachers that treat students like adults, being too leanient just makes us expect that when we get out of line in the future, when in reality people won't just ignore you being late for work or slacking off at work (you calling out the late student and demanding students follow along is an example of these). Keep up the great work, you are doing a great job in preparing your students for the future.
