I used to have pretty severe chronic Lyme disease (which supposedly can settle in the eye) and at one point started taking an antibiotic. On the first day, I had two floaters appear suddenly in my eyes, and these have stayed with me since. I'm wondering if this is common and whether there is anything that people with this kind of chronic illness can be doing to protect their eyes. I do feel that eye health is an overlooked area for people with diseases like ME/CFS and chronic Lyme (and probably also long Covid), and so it would be interesting if you were to address these kinds of issues for people with these illnesses.
