My keypad beeps and lights up but not they unlock / tumblers, I had the original battery in it, swapped to a Duracell and it worked!!!! 10 thumbs up

Duracell was the trick! Needed our passports and the brand new Energizer battery would not make the safe open. THANK YOU!

This was the solution to my problem. Holy Sh... I can't believe this is what held me up from accessing my weapons for several days trying to figure out what was wrong. I obviously recognized a battery issue and replaced it, but unknowlingly with an Energizer. The explanation in this video makes sense, and I had to sift through a lot of other videos to find this, but if these things were made in America I don't think it would conitnue to happen. Why? Because enough of us would go down to their factory and kick their butt and make them change it. Took my NEW Energizer out and replaced it with a NEW Duracell, opened right up.

My American security safe with an SG keypad stopped working overnight. I had Duracells in it and replaced them with Duracells. Still dead. Any advice?

I can get in using the Key. I will try getting a new Dura Cell Battery and see if that helps . It has been a few days since I opened the safe so when I punched in the code I notice none of the numbers/letters were beeping. So I felt the battery was dead. Went to town and got a new battery but not a dura cell as this small town did not have one.. Put new energizer mx battery in and same thing Only the # sound will beep. This is a Sentinel brand 24 gun safe.. I had used an energizer battery before and it worked for about 4 months then this. How much trouble is it to change the key pad if it went bad....

4 new Duracells and it beeps once when attaching. Then push buttons and nothing. Is it the wiring ? Can that be replaced?

I was hoping it was that easy. With new Duracell 9v I get one beep first putting it in, try the combo and a dying beep last for 3 seconds then nothing. Maybe 2 year old safe, junk. I hope putting a new one on is fairly simple

I have a problem with one liberty safe changed the battery but wont work replaced tue keypad amd still wont open with the original keypad battery will heat up and no light no beep with the new keypad a light will come on but no beep tried the new keypad into another safe and it works.... last time I replaces the keypad a burnt smell feel fron the inside could it be that the brain burnt.... is there a guide to drill the inside to open?

Only the 1 2 and 3 stopped beeping; the rest of the numbers beep fine does that mean the keypad has failed? I still have the physical key so I’m not in dire straits but I’d like the keypad back if it’s salvageable
