Context: the plot is that they were harvesting honey that basically acts like an edible that makes people high and fry saves leela from getting stung by a bee with lethal poison and took the hit. Throughout the episode, leela keeps grieving and not accepting frys death. At the end, turns out the stinger only pierced fry and the pointed end with the poison actually reached leela so the fry in her dreams is fry outside talking to her while shes in a coma about grieving frys death

Bender was my dad's favorite character, he even considered it a compliment when one of my sister's friends said he reminded her of Bender.
After he died, I wrote a special tribute to him that was made to sound like it was being said by Bender, and I made sure to add a part that read, "I'm going to mourn you the best way I know how, by stealing all your stuff and pawning them, all in your honor"

Paragraph guy: in this episode, Leela is about to be stabbed by a titanic bee’s stinger, but Fry gets in the way to protect her, so he gets stabbed while Leela only gets scratched. Fry is believed to be dead, a funeral is held. The next days, Leela starts going crazy, having weird dreams and being convinced that Fry is alive. Turns out that she was actually in a poison-induced coma because she was scratched by the tip of the stinger, which injected the bee’s poison. Fry got his liver replaced with a guy’s liver, who used to ride around in his motorcycle all day.

Ngl I’ve been having weird dreams about my Dad after after he recently died. Not like this but. Him saying he loves me and to take care of the fam. Feels nice/heartbreaking at the same time. To all does who have lost a loved one. I fully give you my condolences. May God bless your heart.

This was the first episode of Futurama I ever saw at my friend's house when I was a kid. The TV was on and I witnessed Fry get impaled. I was mortified and stopped watching, and I didn't know how it ended until I binged the entire series last year
