Great stuff! You always find really interesting books. Love the Little Lenin Library and Strong’s tone. I’ll definitely be reading the pdf of Dictatorship and Democracy in the S.U.

These are spectacular finds! This is honestly Parenti-level info

Thank you for turning me on to thriftbooks! I picked up so many rarities that can't always be found elsewhere, like some of Parenti's earlier work. Much thanks!

These are rad! I have a little project that our DSA chapter is working on to spread pocket reads like this at bus stops. These are great inspirations, thanks for sharing and reminding people that the USSR was a diverse place of people and communities.

Cool video, comrade. Anna Louise Strong has popped up in my reading a few times recently and this video has been useful in highlighting the kind of insights she provided, as well as the level of work she put into these projects. I can't remember what I was reading when Strong's name first popped up but it was mentioned more in passing, probably as a citation to counteract bourgeois propaganda around the USSR.

Looking forward to checking out her work. Thanks!

I love these old pamphlets. My question is, did Americans honestly read any of these little books?? I mean people worked hard to make these. I hate seeing just valuable literature being wasted on an intellectually ignorant population..

Looks like very cool pocket reading stuffs there😍😆 Also, loving the title on one written by A. L. Strong. It must be ticklish to the reactionary skins out there👀🤭

I read What About Russia, and there was a part about murderous gangs and kirov, so I was intriguied and eventually did some reading on his assasination on wikipedia. I was curious since the wikipedia article omits some details like the foreign consul, then I identified him (Bissinieks.) Then there was another link to a "Kremlin Plot, " an assasination attempt against Stalin that occurred very nearly after the Kirov affair, that is really lacking in information. I'm gathering information for it, thank you
