How to make your own ruler stand

Hello everyone! In this video I show you how to make your own ruler stand. When quilting on a budget, sometimes you have to find innovative ways to get what you want. I've acquired a few rulers along the way and needed a stand to allow for easy access to them all. It's a good way to save money for other things like fabric and thread.

I had an old round belt hanger thing and I used it to hold my rulers because so many of them had a hole in them for hanging. It worked our great. Doing things on a budget is right up my alley!

Very smart idea. Edith is right about the safety glasses. I had my "man" make a Bow maker the same way from scrap wood. Saved me about $30.00. Will look out back and see if there is a piece of wood for the ruler holder. Thanks again.

Great idea what I did with my rulers that don't have a hole I put one of the big paper clips that hold like a book depth of papers they r normally black and silver I used the little handles that they have and hang the up on the wall very convenient for me thank you and god bless

As a person who likes to make things on a budget, thank you for this video. Have a miter saw and while I don't usually do woodworking projects, can you tell me what angle you cut the grooves and what width the grooves are?
