Hey Steve I think both are great TV's personally. The LG C2 is excellent in a dark or dimly lit room and the Samsung QN90B is excellent in a room with lights on.. Both TVs have specific use cases and both technologies are the best we have available presently. My setup at home is OLED in my bedroom with dimly lit and Miniled in my living room with lights on. I just have different TV's but that's my setup.

I got a crazy deal on the 85 inch QN90B, it just got delivered today. Stoked to open it.

This is an easy decision if you're sensitive to PWM flicker (which apparently I am!). I had to return my 75" QN90B as it was uncomfortable to watch due to PWM flicker that fatigued my eyes after only 15 minutes. The worst part is that it's not visible, you just notice your eyes feeling dry and have to blink often. Terrible experience, so beware buying Samsung QLED TVs without spending half an hour watching it to ensure you're not bothered by the flicker. Otherwise just buy an OLED or SONY LCD TV.

I got the 43 qn90b as a computer monitor. On sale on prime day for a killer deal. Really good choice for that. No burn in risk and one of the best displays around

I had the QE43QN90B and it was way too bright for my liking. Viewing angles were garbage aswell. You had to look head on to get a good picture. Moving slightly to the left or right and you will notice the image deteriorating quickly. It got damaged and I've now bought the C3. Look forward to unboxing it.

Buddy the moment u reduced the brightness on the qled down to zero to make the competing oled look better, u took away any advantage the qled had... this review was entirely biased towards the c2 oled...

I think a better comparison would be the C2 vs the S95B. Of course the C2 is better in this comparison. I hear people complaining about OLED in bright rooms but I have an OLED and it's plenty bright

Well I am not as educated so I may appear as having dumb questions. I'm always interested the most about movie watching. The tv's having or not having HDR and Dolby Vision etc. Also I don't really know if HLG is here in the United States, only in Europe? Also a few days ago I used Amazon Prime with my U6H and the tv said Dolby Vision in the upper corner of the tv. I noticed that it changed the picture settings or should I say checking the picture button, the tv changed and made the tv look very good. So now Dolby Vision is important to me since I have Amazon.

I purchased both of these TVs from Best Buy. My living room has windows on three sides with the TV in the corner. I get a lot of sunlight reflections. I loved the LG but it was not useable. The other problem with the LG is you can only have a single remote connected. The Samsung did not get rid of all the reflections on the screen but it was much less noticeable. I returned the LG.

Hi Steve!

I know both the A80K and S95B are very good, I'm interested in their performance in bright light.

Please do a comparison again with the same tvs but this time use white bias lighting on the qled as that will improve the perceived contrast.

Thanks you for this presentation.
LG C2 is an upper class image . Samsung has 'some moments" but in general looks really inferior in comparison.

I love the promise of OLED but I’m concerned about burn 🔥 in and the fact it’s an organic material that will fade unevenly based on the content you watch.

I had to replace my bedroom Samsung 55” JS8500 a couple of months ago because of the edge light burn in that kept creeping in from both sides. I accidentally walked out of a BB outlet store with a Sony 65” A90J for about $1800 after taxes. I couldn’t pass up the deal and now it’s hard to watch a regular LED at times

Great review again, tnx Steve. But still, for light room, what do you think is better choice overall? Contens will be looked both during daylight and night time.

amazing work! so many people always show the Oleds looking way too dim when they compare them to Samsung tvs when the reality is in most content Oleds are “bright” enough.

I currently have an LG UQ9000 65" but for living room use I'd probably have to go with the Samsung for the best use in a living room if that's the case between it & the C2.
