If you google roysl navy master buttons that one comes up.

"Made from 1807 to 1812, The rank of Master is particularly scarce to find, since as with the rank of Captain, there would only be one Master to a ship. Outside of the Captain, the Master was the second most important individual, due to the master's specialist navigational skills".

🤔very interesting.

Whatever you're talking about, he's a metal detector expert, what makes him an expert is that everyone can do it with a machine, don't exaggerate, many of us do it every day and we don't say we're experts.

It's been fun watching them dig around in the outhouse on Lot 5. That's someone's toilet that they've been digging in.

The curious thing is why all those coins are scattered all over the ground and in different places??? Back then I doubt people were just dropping and leaving coins all over the ground. Those coins were valuable for people back then don’t know how much they could’ve bought with them but I doubt they would on purpose just throw them away. Nowadays you can easily find cents all over the place and that’s why maybe people might think seeing these coins taking out of the ground isn’t important at all BUT in reality it might be very important to understand what went on in Oak Island. All those coins scattered makes me think of people in a hurry or too busy to pay attention to what’s going on with their things. Maybe an attack and battles were fought throughout the island causing people to lose their coins fleeing or fighting. Maybe hauling out boxes of coins and moving them with animals and pulleys from one place to another at night caused coins to fall and stay on the ground for so much time. Those are 2 very possible scenarios. They need to keep going and unravel this whole mystery

Question: If these finds belong to any officer of the English navy of this period? whose treasure does this belong to?
