this works for literally no one but kids who i grew up with lol but i remember being taught to remember it as “5th grade 280” lol bc my 5th grade teacher taught the unit and our school was on highway 280

hey did you know you can memorize the meters in a kilometer by remembering "1000". this works because there are 1000 meters in a kilometer. hope this helps!

A trick to remember how many meters are In a kilometer is to remember that the metric system wasn't made by a drunk mathematician with dice (a kilometer is 1000 meters)
