Not only did Milo do an amazing job of this performance but you can feel the confusion inside of Joseph whether to believe that Mary is carrying the son of God or not. The composers did a beautiful job of writing this song!!!

My favorite part about this song isn’t just the way Joseph’s lines are delivered but also the stoicism in Mary’s face. How tall she stands figuratively in the face of everyone’s judgment and criticism. Her powerful character combined with the power of Joseph’s voice really connects the scene beautifully.

Milo did an incredible job with this song and the entire scene. I love when the side of him that realizes he loves her drops the stone when he sees it in his hand. I had hoped to see the film twice more tonight but the weather didn't allow that to happen, so to find one of my favourite scenes (only behind the nativity scene) now available on youtube is wonderful!

Good Joseph’s voice is softer and more caring
Bad Joseph’s voice sounds dark and angry.
