I'm really impressed with the skin tones of s24 ultra. Samsung did a good work. But still the portrait blur looks a bit unnatural compared to iphone.

I think the pixel 8 pro is equally good but it always lies in the shadow of these two giants. Nonetheless the s24 ultra is the best all rounder phone available in the market now.

Based on colour rendition and detail retention, iPhone 15 has the edge. But me personally, I've never found any of iPhone's low light photos flattering. Some look worse than a 4G mid-range device! Thanks to that piss-yellow tint.

But the biggest reason why I'd choose Android over iPhone, is the existence of the S2(...) FE series. Some may also credit the Pixel A series, but I'd get Sammie for the service centre experience and durability.

Camera app in flagship phones never receive any software update..
It does get updated every year and they install in new phone. No software updates to camera app. Every update with new phone

Finally? S23, released in February last year, clearly set the benchmark for all phones. Being better than iPhone 15 series that released months later.

Generally, the Pixel reigns supreme in most photos (esp. in blind camera comparisons). Apple has vastly improved it's image processing from dull to punchy HDR look. Samsung is good too overall just too much grungy look in some cases. It's nice that Google and Samsung have almost caught up to iPhones in videos.
