2:35 thats not natural blur i think. That created due to the bad hdr of iphone or lens flare issue. Samsung looks good at that point.

It's extremely baffling how much of a grip Apple has on its user base. I have a top end 2022 flagship Android phone with an awesome camera At a work event last year a group of
colleagues wanted to take a photo and I was keen to offer up my phone for it, and was immediately shunned because it was an android over someone else's base level 3-year-old iPhone, which absolutely did not take better pictures than my phone. I think you're spot on with the aspirational POV, as Android caters to the budget shopper.

As mentioned that 8k is not what we will be using much but at some point or the other where the scenery is damn eye pleasing we won't be disappointed losing a bit of storage so you should consider 8k video as a definite point for Samsung as at least is is able to record it which the iPhone cannot

With that note android somehow after years of struggle specifically since iPhone 11 (i guess) cought up to Apple's video quality. And I don't think apple can make sudden jump/leap from this point in next 3-4 years so as Android so both will walk along, now it's just the matter of OS preference and not the quality.

I think a Normal User just likes the Night Video of S23 Ultra as it is very sharp & Background Name Boards, Traffic Area everything is on Point and the People in frame are too good & the video is ready to post in my POV. :)

What fascinates me about Apple products, and iPhones in particular, is that the hype about Apple has managed to convince almost everyone and even the ''Pro-Android'' that what Apple does with its iPhones is the norm, and that anything different and often even better is ultimately bad 🤦🏽‍♂️

It's normal to go into the iPhone settings to disable HDR video, but it's abnormal if not an aberration to disable the scene optimizer on the Samsung to have more natural colors, it's abnormal to fix the video exposure if you don't like the Samsung's automatic exposure, it's abnormal to use Samsung's pro mode, but completely normal to use Apple's ProRaw and proRes... WHY !!! 🤷🏽‍♂️

The iPhone's HDR photo is abnormally bad for a smartphone of this price, but since it's Apple, it's ok ...

In video, the iPhone applies an orange tint on the skin tones wich makes you look like a carrot 🥕, but it's Apple so it's fine...

Why is no one talking about macro mode? I own the s23 ultra...before it i used the s22...idk but somehow I liked the pictures from my s22 more...s22 shots were even more eye pleasing(colours)
Video quality is seriously immensely improved..and the stabilization too...

Anyways, i would really like a dedicated macro mode

I'm surprised that no one talks about how photos/videos on social media always look better when captured by an iPhone, as the developers optimize their apps for the specific iPhone. Considering most people are taking a lot of photos on Instagram/Snapchat/etc., it's a shame reviewers don't mention that in these videos that speak of "practical" use.

⚫ instead of buying 80k phone photography
use 30-35k phone for casual use..
like pixel 6a / s21fe
⚫and use DSLR Like Nikon D3500/canon 1500D (costs nearly 30~40k)
⚫ mobile camera now at saturation phase and they don't justify their prices 😑😑

my sister just baught s23 Ultra today.... whatever you say in this vid holds true ...in addition to that i just want to mention that SD 8 gen 2 could be a game changer. no matter what you throw at it, the phone doesn't heat at all ... played cod on it for a while ... my OnePlus feels like an open stove compared to s23 Ultra after 37 mins of game on maxed out settings.

200mp pixel-binned camera did not make it a brighter image, it's the sensor overall size that takes more light, allows more processing and results in a good clean shot. if the camera pixels were so good then lowlight video processing was going to be better in s23U, its just post processing.
for better results just but a good slr, n chill.

I have an S22 ultra and in videos, it really lags behind mainly due to consistency. It sometimes blurs for no apparent reason - I know you could say it's the light but can't even confirm what type of lighting condition does that. My friend's iPhone 14 pro does a better job in 80% conditions. However, when it comes to pictures my S22 blows away the iPhone.

I know this video is mainly about S23 but it's going to work the same way mostly.
