In all your games you GPU is bottlenecking your CPU, thats why you have no difference, I have a 1080Ti and a I7 3820 (old one) and I have a CPU bottleneck, and I can tell you theres a huge difference, I used to have HT on always, now, I have it disable, and I have earn like some fps on some games, and some stability (fps before was 90-130, now 110-130) Just for turning off HT

When you disable hyperthreading ... you will realize that you have CPU Bottleneck in some heavy games.

When you have 50%-60% of CPU usage with HT .... most times you have bottleneck because you are not using 60% of your CPU but all your cores are used .... but the load is balanced between Threads (unfortunately threads are not really cores).

it's very uncommon to see games that uses 2 Threads of 1 core at 100% or even 90% ... most times they divide the task between the 2 threads and it's not what we expect about CPU.

In some games that benefit from hyperthreading you will notice almost same CPU Usage with HT and without HT like Assassin's Creed where you have better frametime with HT.

Most games today doesn't care about hyperthreading and use Cores sooo more the frequency of single core better frametime you have.

It''s why even you have 8-Core CPU .... the speed of Single Core or few Cores matter !

I think you’re right about disabling hyperthreading but do you have any charts or graphs from your research that you could share with us that sure the numbers just to summarize what you showed on the screens

would have been nice to see this test on a gtx 1080 or 1080ti
the gtx 1060 is holding back the system :(
so you wont see the real diffrence

i have gtx 1080ti 7700k @ 5 ghz
battle field 1 ht on i get 156 fps with ht off i get 129 fps same settings some games like some games dont like it

Idk why everyone's hating on the video for the GPU bottleneck. Whenever someone buys their parts for their rig they go for a GPU bottleneck to get the most performance possible out of the GPU. This is a realistic scenario.

why do you think just because the video card is at 99% means a bottleneck lol no its supposed to do that, Most of the time if the CPU is close to 100% and the GPU is under 99% like at 60% or lower that it means the CPU is holding back the GPU then you know you have a bottleneck for the card not the other way around plus it depends on the game, some games are CPU dependent and others are more GPU dependent.

I do not really see the point when there is a graphics card like the 1060 as the limiting factor quite obviously is the 1060.
Of course the cpu won’t effect anything then.

there is no difference as u are using an i7 and its above maximum specs of the games u used. the best test is with i3 or i5 processors thx tho
