Chinese here, the first snack wasn't some chinese version of cheetos, in fact it is a completely different snack. It is called 小馒头, which means mini steamed bun (since it kinda looks like a very small chinese steamed bun), and it was originally a kind of biscuit given to babies to help them start moving away from breast milk to actual foods. It is supposed to be crunchy and powdery at first, but would melt in your mouth after a few seconds with sufficient saliva for easy digesting for babies.

The flavour of the snack you bought was yogurt flavored, and I think the cheetos part was just the brand, you know how off brand chinese stores are like. My favourite brand of these are from 旺仔, and I would still eat them as an adult because of how good it is.

The packaging says Baumkuchen, which is german for tree cake. It's usually shaped like a tube and has rings like a tree. Also covered in chocolate. Really tasty and rich, you should try it. The one you bought is like a slice of Baumkuchen.

Oh, I read Baumkuchen on the maple cake... Baumkuchen is a nice Christmas sweet in Germany. Thin layers of dough covered in dark or light chocolate
