Daim is not british, it’s swedish and belongs to a company called Mondelēz International and it previously belonged to Marabou, which is probably swedens most famous chocolate brand

Flakes are more commonly used as an ice cream topping than eaten by themselves :) you just put it through the top of the ice cream in an ice cream cone and eat them together, it works a lot better that way! Kinda like having melt-in-the-mouth chocolate shavings on your ice cream, haha

The first sentence on the English Wikipedia for Daim is “Daim was created by Marabou in Sweden in the 1950s” I know Wikipedia isn’t a trustworthy source but I am also Swedish I’ve also seen one person say Daim is British before. Idk where it says it’s British like mondelez now makes it and on the Wikipedia it says markets international…

The Cadbury Dairy Milk bars are where it's at when it comes to Brit sweets. A family friend in Aberdeen, Scotland sends us a care package of Cadbury chocolates every year around Christmas. My personal favorite is the dairy milk bar with fruit and nuts in it, gives the illusion of being healthy.
