Map the System 2019 - The Global Final
Показать описание
Map the System is a global competition run by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Tackling global challenges starts with understanding a problem and its wider context, rather than jumping straight into a business plan or an idea for a quick fix. This competition asks student teams to use systems thinking to delve into the complexity of a challenge, to fully understand it, and find gaps for better solutions.
This year the global finals took place on Friday, 7 June and throughout the weekend, with 6 finalists presenting to a live audience on Sunday, 9 June.
1st Place - Inferno, Simon Fraser University, Canada
2nd Place - No means No, University of Oxford, UK
3rd Place – The Forgotten Biome, Amani Institute, Brazil
Runner up Finalist – Honest Fashion, De Montfort University Leicester, UK; Missed Steaks, Yale University, USA; and Chakra, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA.
