The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee 2019 Map the System team, Chakras, examined chakra use among the Indigenous Kichwa of Ecuador. This team were runners up in the 2019 Global Final.
Map the System is a global competition run by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Tackling global challenges starts with understanding a problem and its wider context, rather than jumping straight into a business plan or an idea for a quick fix. This competition asks student teams to use systems thinking to delve into the complexity of a challenge, to fully understand it, and find gaps for better solutions.
