Do you ever come to Canada Pati? Surprisingly, the little town I live in here is about 30km from the USA border and we do have small pockets of Mexican flavours through some amazing taco food trucks. There is one in particular that reminds me of the exact type of place that Pati would love. There is also a big box grocery store in the same area that has a really excellent choice of Mexican spices and herbs and peppers and lots of products from ones Pati uses. I was very impressed with their selection. So this is why I ask about coming to Canada. You'd be surprised at the great Mexican food we have here. I love, love, love your show Pati. And my name is Patti as well, but spelt the "Irish" way . Peace

Is the bread of the tortas comparable to French bread baguette? Perhaps an approximation would be to use standard French bread baguette if the Guadalajara bread isn't available.
