My wife and I played Cascadia for the first time last weekend, we used Landmarks in that game. We thought the game was fantastic, we actually played twice (I would have played a 3rd time). For what it's worth, Landmarks seem like it was meant to be part of the game, there's no way we'll never play without it ...

I’m looking for a family friendly (not to complicated to teach and learn but offers some strategy) game that will support up to at least 6 players. I want the game components to be easy to handle. Carcassonne has been a classic with the gaming group. Would Cascadia with Landmarks expansion possibly meet this criteria? Plus, we live in the Pacific Northwest (aka Cascadia), so the theme is fulfilling.

Where I am the expansion costs only a few dollars less than the base game. Is there really as much stuff in the box as the base game that would justify that cost?

Very disappointed to hear they failed to match tile colors. Alderac needs to address this issue.
