Derek Prince Short Sermon on The Tragic William Branham Life Story. He tell about the life and ministry of the controversial figure William Branham. Derek Prince was good friends with Gordon Lindsay who worked with William Branham for many years. Gordon Lindsay said "I had to come to the conclusion that their were two spirits in William Branham. One was the spirit of God and one was not". In spite of William Branham prophetic ministry and many other giftings, he died in a car accident and was killed by a drunk driver. William Branham left behind a bunch of followers who were a cult. A sad group of believers. This can all be attributed to the mixture of the holy spirit and demonic spirits working in William Branham's life. With a mixture like that the bad will eventually out weight the good. William Branham life and ministry should be a lesson to the modern day charismatic movement to stay on the straight and narrow with god regardless of your gifting.

The message i take here as i always do is be mindful of the teachers, pastors, prophets etc that end up having 2 spirits. I came from a church like that a few years ago. When i listened to Derek's teaching about 2 spirits, that made me understand that the leader in my former church had and still has it. When we worship leaders in the name of honor and loyalty, it becomes hard to see when they have 2 spirits.

This is so common among the hypercharismatic church these days. People who have the Holy Spirit and sometimes listen to Him but, because their focus is more on the gifts and demonstrations of power rather than studying scripture, they leave room for other spirits to speak to them. When they become comfortable listening to those other spirits, they are deceived into thinking it's the Holy Spirit. How are they deceived by this? They're focus is on the gifts, so any spirit speaking to them with accurate words of knowledge etc, they will equate with the Holy Spirit. So sad.

For those who believe an evil or unclean spirit cannot inhabit the body of a person who is a believer in Christ Jesus as Lord and savior, i can say, yes, its possible. Sin, iniquity, masonry background in bloodline, various unrepented or unrenounced things can keep a person open to spiritual darkness, even with a believer. That is why deliverance is needed. People in ministry are under a special type of warfare to disable or discredit them.

I think this explains the case of Ravi Zacharias a wonderful Christian apologist who talked with university students and explained the gospel in an amazing way, but eventuall the truth came out about the other side of his private life. So sad.

My comment on this is that, those who can agree with what preacher Derek Prince said are the one having God's discerning Spirit and have been in William Branham's ministry. Myself i have been there before i came to know Prince. I can comfirm that what Prince said about the man of God Branham and his followers who worship him to this day, is true.

This is the hardest saying most people can agree with, such as of mixing two spirits.

I believe that Branham fair minded followers can admit and testify what Prince said, bcos of what they have seen from Branham's teaching.
