I just watched a video to get the pin in, 1) push it in and 2) press down as you push in. (The rounded side has to be flat as you insert it)

Great video and sound effects 😂....personal tip: I usually tap the back of BCG on the table to ensure the firing pin dont fall off....if it falls off you did something wrong.

Is it normal for a brand new bolt to be really stiff? Mine requires a bit of force to move, and the cam pin actually twists a little when I push and pull on the bolt. It came pretty well oiled from the factory. Maybe it just needs to be cleaned?

Yeah, I have a new BCG that had a lot of use was in need of a cleaning. It went back together just fine except for the Stinking firing pin retainer. I just had to walk away. Maybe tomorrow it will slide back Thank God I'm not in a fire fight half way around the world!!!

Also, the use of a cotter pin in the design of the AR BCG is f***ing bonkers.
