GW2 Truly Missed Out On Good Cosmetics...

You know your game is lacking decent cosmetic choices, when even the facial accessories end up being very underwhelming. I'm not mad PopCap... I'm just disappointed.

GW2 also missed out on an amazing Citron concept, we have Compula and Vamp Flower but imagine how cool it would be if they made a vampire citron based on blood oranges

GW1 had facial hair GW2 had things like toothbrushes, and pencils.

I remember back when the game came out wondering "why I could transition my characters over to the new game but not the cosmetics. It was a huge thing they missed out on due to what I think is laziness bc im sure they cinsidered this

Genuine insanity to me how GW2 ONLY bought classic hats to the game. I genuinely would have killed for some zombie facial hair and plant tattoos from the original game.

And they put special hats in normal packs
And by special I mean silver gold diamond and gem items
Now when I open packs it’s like “oh a golden sunflower hat, oh some diamond glasses for scientist” but in gw1 you could choose if you want normal items or do you want some gold and diamond items
And also some gold items had diamonds in them in gw1

What people don’t seem to understand is that even though garden warfare has some good cosmetics garden warfare 2 cosmetics truly shine when it applies to limited time cosmetics like Christmas cosmetics or the Halloween or Easter one or the st. Patrick’s Day one”. and even if they aren’t those. most of the cosmetics especially for the zombie side either match with some gun wrap”.

I have like 2 big complaint when it comes to gw2 cosmetics. One is that most gw1 stuff isn’t in the game and the few stuff you can get is like a select few from the Town Hall chests.

But my biggest complaint is the BLING, GW1 had a perfect system in my opinion, made the bling sets have their own separate sticker packs, so that if you really wanted that bling bling you could go after it, tho imo they could have made it a tiny bit cheaper cus man gw1 coins hurt.

Like I swear I get happy I see a new cosmetic even if it’s crappy because it is something new, then immediately get depressed cus that’s a new item to the silver/gold/diamond/gem pool that’ll further prevent me from getting new cosmetics.

i genuinely don't even understand why there's a silver, gold, diamond and gem variant for each cosmetic, they generally look worse and it just feels like nothing but filler, i could honestly see it being cool if they made it obtainable through special missions or something and only for a few cosmetics and not all of them

I remembered Gw1 having a robot styled cosmetic set for Peashooter, back then I used to run Plasma Pea alot and I used tgat set

If they kept all of the GW1 Cosmetics and then added less but better GW2 Cosmetics. GOD each team would look fucking FABULOUS!
