I never subscribe to sites, but I'm doing it as my way of saying thanks. I need to replace my tail light and wasn't sure if it would be a simple thing or massively complex. You know how some vehicles are. This video showed me everything I needed. Went and tried on my 2019 Tacoma and instructions were spot on. Ordered up an OEM tail light 50% less than what the dealership was going to charge me. It'll be nice to have my truck back and be able to drive it without risking getting a ticket/pulled over. Kind of a dumb question, but those 2 holes that wires are going through when you remove taillights wouldn't let water inside would they? Reason I ask is I installed some custom tails on my '23 OR and water got inside my connectors. I'm thinking it splashed from underneath through those holes since I hit a deep puddle.

Actually, for me this process was a little more complicated. The plastic receptacles into which the pins insert don't always stay attached to the body of the vehicle, but rather come out still on the pin. You can't get them off the pin (which I had to do so I could install my replacement tail light assembly) just by pulling with with pliers; you have to get under the flange of the receptacle with a screwdriver and pry it off.
But still, a very useful video.
