the drops from low level slayer monsters nowadays are pretty good considering the stats you're going to be having, such as the fact marentil herbs sell for anywhere for 6-8k ea.
abberant spectres drop tons of those, plus other expensive herbs, alot of slayer creatures of the low variety will also drop a few hundred k worth of marentil

Also I'm pretty sure MW armour for melee is cheaper than torva atm isn't it? I dunno how long you could last in bandos, but maybe it's worth holding off until then? Not sure
