Baby #6 Pregnancy » My Weird Remedies to Cure Nausea & Morning Sickness (raw, funny vlog + recipes)
Показать описание
These are my best-kept secret remedies for nausea and morning sickness. They are weird things I eat and do that actually work! I am 31 weeks pregnant with baby #6 and I hope these pregnancy hacks will help moms want relief from nausea who don't know what do when you're pregnant and sick. I have also included an unconventional oat ginger cookie recipe, a mauby recipe, and a book that I recommend to helps with the mind-body connection that is a big part of nausea for me.
☆MY REMEDIES☆
Infinite Nausea Buster Bites: 1 cup of oats, 1/4 cup of peanut butter, 1/4 cup of agave, 1/4 tsp of ginger powder, 1/8 tsp of hemp seeds, 1/4 cup of vegan chocolate chips or cacao nibs. Optional (questionable ingredients) tiny sprinkle of dill weed, celery seeds, and red pepper. | Mix together. Form a big block. Bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees. Break off into little bites. (FYI: Does not hold together as bars, which is fine, because they work better as bites or balls if you want to roll them.)
Mauby: Put 5 sticks of mauby bark to boil in a pot of 1 13/4 cups of water with 1 stick of cinnamon and 6 cloves. Boil for 5-10 minutes. Let sit overnight in the covered pot. In the morning, strain and store in a glass jar. This is your mauby concentrate. Option #1: Pour concentrate into ice trays and use as ice in your water in the morning with a drizzle of agave and 1-2 shakes of Angostura bitters in each cup. Option #2: Pour 1 cup of concentrate into a cup and slowly keep adding regular ice and water until it is not too bitter (2:1 ratio if you prefer). Add a drizzle of agave and 1-2 shakes of Angostura bitters in each cup before drinking.
Angostura bitters is a drink flavoring from Trinidad that can be found on Amazon. I highly recommend it for the perfect glass of mauby.
