Thanks for giving us a look at what is a great kit Jim, especially coming in "aussie" markings. Cheers!

This kit is a beast! I may tackle it someday.

The Mozzy was an amazing aircraft and one of the fastest of WW2, flying under early radar at 50 at 400mph, as a type one of the most effective aircraft of the war, so much so all the allies used them and made them - shame the kit doesn't have the USAF decals

You commented about 3D scanning....Tamiya had an almost brand new , rebuilt FB VI in NZ back in 2012....and they did exactly that.... The release of this kit is no surprise.

Typical Tamiya, amazing detail throughout. I think this one has Gary Bottoms name written all over it. I would love to see what he'd do with this.

That does look like a sweet kit. Not a Sweet kit, but a sweet kit. Oh you get the idea... ;)

'Mosi' is a British slang term for mosquito insects, hence why the plane was also called known as a mosi

Can you send me the tree letter or number for the clear plastic canopy? I need to order the 2 trees that have the canopy parts from tamiya. You have the manual and i dont. A friend gave me a his kit. It was short a few things.

All I heard was "MOSSIE" with an S, but I'm use to people from the U.K. speaking the King's, did you say AUZZIE markings though? HA! Beautiful kit, Excellent detail, time for an {UG!} X-Mas list! No! CANNOT wait! I must order kit tomorrow! Not only were A/C in WWII supercharged, but also Turbo charged.{B-17, P-47, P-38 to name a few} Need turbo charging for high altitude operations, were there is very little air. Want to see a kit maker that might even be better than Tamiya? Pick up the 1/32nd HE-219 by Zoukei-Mura, even their 1/48th Ta-152 is a jewel in a box. Thanks for the review!
