I really think that they showed love for Bill Bixby in this scene. The hair style and jump suit was what he use to wear in the original hulk series played by Lou Ferrigno. The hair style in this scene is exactly like how Bill Bixby use to wear his. I'm an 80's Baby so you just had to be there to understand.

The actor is only different but it is still the same Bruce from the 2008 "Incredible hulk" film. And he loved Betty Ross in that and now he changes to Natasha. I am just saying that it is the same Bruce and I am pretty sure that he still remembers Betty but cannot be near her because of general Ross her father. So, that is why he moves on pretends to not know her and changes to Natasha. Just saying.
