I walked in to the SDA church here, was introduced to the pastor by friends that attended the church, I said I need to be baptized . I had a certificate signed by pastor Doug . Probably a stamp . Then I studied with a church member . Then I was baptized . The most glorious day of my life . ❤

I have always been a very deep thinker, and I have found after much contemplation that sin is actually just a reference to actions that steal the life and peace of the person participating in them. I honestly think that a Christian lifestyle where a man (or woman) is truly wholeheartedly abiding in the commandments and instructions of God leads that person to true freedom, true strength, and true peace. It's NOT a constraining or repressive doctrine at all! It is a solemn warning to keep you from the enslavement of the weakness of the flesh. Gods admonitions are so few and his blessings so many yet this society portrays him as an overbearing patriarch who wants to subdue you and take all the 'pleasure' out of life. Nothing could be further from the real truth. I trust my father, and I am going to walk with him.

TRUTH!!! I showed up at church for years after my weekends of drinking and fornication. wasn't until the Lord removed everything from my life ( job/home/crutches, I was homeless) that I learned REPENTANCE. obedience to His word. was crazy painful but I was deceived and had I died during my rebellion would have suffered eternity without Him. what a mighty God we serve!

Pastor Doug your knowledge of the Bible is always very impressive. You have led me to where I like being very much. Saturday I'm going to join the local Seventh Day Church.
