Customize Notifications on Samsung Galaxy | Samsung US

The seemingly endless stream of Samsung Galaxy notifications can seem overwhelming at times. The good news is you have lots of control over the frequency, design, and types of notifications that display on your phone!

You can customize notifications a few different ways in Settings. Switch universal notifications on or off from the Notifications menu.

For more control, enable or disable individual apps from within App notifications, and decide if you want to receive silent notification alerts.

You can also change up the appearance of your notifications by choosing a small badge to display or a more visible pop-up style. Toggle Lock screen notifications on or off depending on whether you want to hide content like the body of a text message!

If you want your phone to keep all calls, notifications and other alerts out of sight, put Do not disturb to use. Go into Advanced Settings to customize even more by showing or hiding your Battery percentage, Emergency alert notifications, and more.
