Lovely radio I’m thinking of getting the ftdx10

i have this same radio ftdx101d purchased new but the receiver after having it for 2 months is noiser on all bands and now everytime i move my cursor a blue tail follows my cursor and streams all the time in the waterfall. im at a loss of what to do, tried explaining it to manufacturer but no help. any idea of what maybe defective? my icom 7300 is quieter on all bands than my new ftdx101d. when i first purchased it it was so quiet and cleaner and stronger reception over the 7300.

No receive EQ is a deal breaker for me. My Yaesu 1/3 the price FT-710 has a 3 band EQ, Hard to understand why the TOTL Yaesu does not. ????
